"Immediately."

Lag time ranges from seconds to, perhaps, a couple of weeks, before you actually SEE it on one of the publicly-visible servers. But editors (who see the master copy of the directory) will nearly always see it at once.

Thanks.:)

I asked that because I found a log of an ODP editor just yesterday on my site,so I suppose it was for review it, but it hasn't been included in any directory yet...
So we are in the timing,pheraps...
Or maybe,the site wasn't compliant...:(

An entry in your log may mean a review, but don't assume it. It could mean many other things. E.g. an editor just doing a quick check to see if the site really exists and is in the right category - after which he could drop it back into the pile for later review or move in to another category for another editor to look at it.

There are so many different things that could mean, that it is futile to guess which possibility it was.

In almost all cases, regardless of what you see (or don't see!) in your server logs or anywhere else, your best guide to your best possible action is and remains the submittal policy.

How about the exceptional cases? They are indistinguishable from the normal cases, and are too rare to worry about.
