Sister company listings

I think I first got my company listed in the ODP in about 1998. That was fine until a marketing company got hold of our account and tried to add multiple entries for sister companies. The result of this was that my original entry is still being displayed, but with another company's URL.

I read the editors comments at the time, and the main reason was that the ODP will only display 1 entry per group of companies (correct me if I'm wrong). My problem I have is that my company is now a separate entity, but I think I am getting ignored still - how can I redeem myself?

The ODP focusses, of course, on giving accurate, relevant information about websites. In all that, did I notice a hint of an inaccuracy in an ODP listing?

If that's what you meant, then there's an "update listing" link in each category which anyone can use to point out errors of any kind. Accurate error reports about any websites are welcomed gratefully.

Your personal or business reputation wouldn't be affected by such a report. Redemption necessarily remains between you and your deity.

I have used the "Update Listing" link but still nothing changes. I obviously have the wrong deity working for me.

Updates are often (but not always) reviewed "more quickly" than other suggestions.

This fact doesn't enable predictions to be made about when any particular update might be reviewed.
