Hello,

I am writing to request information regarding my website www.asparagusappetizer.com. It was recently added to this directory (http://dmoz.org/Home/Cooking/Appetizers/) and I did receive traffic dmoz but then my sites listing seems to have been removed.

Are you able to give me further information about why this website was removed?

Any help is much appreciated.

It was added, but then a second review indicated that the site is probably ineligible to be listed.

I doubt you will be allowed more.

Sorry bobrat but I do not understand.

This website is not roar.com, it has roar.com ads but it is definately not roar.com.

The website as I have said above is asparagusappetizer.com not roar.com and I have seen numerous posts of people that have had more than 20 listings with 20 different websites so I dont see how having a listing for roar.com and a listing for asparagusappetizer.com would be a problem. Is it?

Would there be anything left of any value to us?

The guidelines say: "Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites."

There are dozens of interlinked Appetizer sites, variations on a theme, none of which would be listed. So no, please do not resubmit. Thanks.

How is my site "interlinked", this website is purely about asparagus appetizers and the health benefits of this food.

Also there are no other websites in this category that have information on healthy appetizers like my website.

Having now looked at your site in detail, it seems to me your site is less about asparagus than driving traffic to affiliate sites, selling cook books and linking to several of your many other sites.

I chose an asparagus recipe at random - it's a direct copy of http://www.recipeland.com/recipe/867/ - not exactly unique

bobrat it isn't like 10,000 other websites have not got that recipe.

Also, does it not contain any useful information for people that want information on appetizers? specifically asparagus appetizers?

One day my website will be in the dmoz directory! I will work on this site until it meets your criteria of a good website.
