Hey there,

Not too long ago I got the ownership of <url removed> and tried to add links to Open Directory (example. <deeplink url removed>). However, not a single link got added. On top of that the links that I already saw listed before, when i acquired the site, are no longer there. Is there a way to check if this site somehow got blacklisted and get it removed from that list? The site has a lot of useful information and being updated every day with more features and more content. Please let me know what is going on. Thank you.

This forum's subtitle says
Forum for discussions about the process of suggesting a site for inclusion. General discussion only, no mention of specific sites here please.
We don't answer website specific questions here.

No listing is permanent and a change of ownership or content can trigger its re-evaluation. If you bought the domain name simply because it was listed in ODP, I'm afraid you've made an assumption too many.

Since we do not review or give information about specific sites here, no, there's nothing we can or will do here to look into your specific site's situation.

But I can add one important bit of information.

If (note emphasis) you have been trying to suggest deeplinks (links to other than the root URL) then you have been abusing the directory.

While editors are certainly free to add deeplinks based upon their experience and knowledge of the directory and its guidelines, it is wholly inappropraite for a site owner/webmaster to spam the submission process with attempts to get deeplinks added.

If you have not been trying to add deeplinks, then great! Perhaps the forum lurkers can learn from my response.
