Site dropped out before URL could be updated

Hi,

We have been listed in DMOZ for many years (probably since it started) and have an original directory of over 21,000 shops (and are Europe's largest online shopping directory)

We were listed under http://www.sotn.com/ in the Shopping/Directories category. A few months back we decided to purge all use of www.sotn.com and use our more popular URL http://www.shopsonthenet.com/

Unfortunately when I went to "Update URL" I got a "Bad category" error and couldn't make any changes. I send a message on the contact form (several times) but never got a reply. Because we had completely dropped use of www.sotn.com we were removed from the index.

What's the quickest way for it to be reinstated, considering a URL change is all that is required?

Thanks,

Gareth Attrill

Just resubmit with the new URL. The site was removed because, as you say, it no longer works. We try hard to remove dead links from the directory as soon as possible.
