Hi everyone,
My site was listed in DMOZ http://www.geeksonsteroids.com but it is now gone. I resubmitted the site but was wondering if there was a way to find out why the site is gone.

It is a simple site on website design but was just wondering if there was away to find out any information on this.

Thanks,
Janeth

Your site was in the wrong category - it appears that you changed the content of the site.

[It would be nice in the future, after December 16, if you would follow the rules and give us a clickable link to the category]

It has been moved to another category to be reviewed again.

Hi bobrat,
I can give you a link that is not a problem at all. I missed that in the rules, I was not trying to do anyone wrong. But then if the rule was made on Dec. the 16 that could be why I did not see it. :monacle:

Hi bobrat,
I was not sure when the site had been removed, but was asking if there was a place on the forum where I could look and see what the problem was. I was not meaning to make you or anyone else do any leg work on my part and that was the reason for no links. I did resubmitt the site today but was not asking about that, just wanted to make sure I had not done anything wrong.

I'm sorry for any problems I may have caused you.

Thanks for your time

There was no need to resubmit. Stated above:

And if you submitted it back to the original [as yet not named] category, then it's a total waste of time, since it was moved from there, and someobody will have to delete that submission.

Hi bobrat and giz,
I did resubmit it but to where it should go and not the first one. I did that after I saw it was gone and before I posted here. I do hope I did not do anything that will hurt or delay the process.

What you describe that you did is fine. It might even speed the process (which, when you get down to it, is the definitional distinction between "fine" and "spam".)
