Site lising

Hi,

If you do a search for avrepair.com on dmoz's main site, you see that it is listed in 2 catagories. Fine, but when you go to each catagory, the site is NOT listed in the results. When I go to each listing, it's there, but I cannot pull up a screen that has 'update url' on the top. It is as if avrepair.com isnt listed... Can anyone help?

It used to be listed, yes - the listings got removed fairly recently in favour of the URL http://www.ttlvdo.com/ which is listed in category
http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/AudioVisual/Recordings

The search updates less frequently, and hasn't updated yet to reflect these removals.

Thank you for your answer. It certaintly explains things. I thought that I had done something wrong.

However, having said that, www.ttlvdo.com and www.avrepair.com are seperate entities. If you do a search on whois, you can verify that they are seperate domains, with seperate owners.

Is there a problem that I am not aware of? Why cant avrepair.com be listed? It simply shares existing floor space, but the two entities are distinct, and quite different.

http://avrepair.com was deleted in error and is in now in http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Tools_and_Equipment/Repair_Services/

And thank you for the update. Good news indeed, and thank you for re-listing me, I am very grateful.

May I ask a few more questions, please.

I was listed in two catagories, it is possible to be put back in the original two?

I would like to update my URL's on DMOZ, but in past experiences, the updates never go through. May I update the URL, and then notify you here, in this forum, and you can make the changes, or would that not be appropriate?

When I go to DMOZ's main page, and type in www.avrepair.com, it says that no open directory projects exist, it's like I'm still not there. Can you shed any light on that for me.

Changed entries can take at least several days to appear in the public listings.

The search function is usually updated a couple of times per month, or so.
