Site listed but not showing up

No site is guaranteed a permanent listing, and sites might "disappear" for a number of reasons, including quality control, moving to a more appropriate category, or no longer meeting ODP listing requirements. This is all quite normal, and nothing to worry about.

If the site is still suitable for listing, it will "reappear" one day, when a volunteer attends to it. :)

It's probably because the search database hasn't been updated since April 15th - i'm waiting for my site to appear also.

Is there always this length of time between updates? Is there a problem with it?

As jimnoble explained recently here,
It's approximately weekly but it's in the control of the AOL systems engineers who run our servers so it'll happen when it happens.

In other words, volunteer editors have nothing to do with it, and no way of predicting what will happen. :)
