site listed incorrectly, update listing not working

Hi. I'll admit it's only been two weeks since we submitted to the update listing, but we are anxious to have our site listed correctly. Right now it says our project closed in 2008...This is a problem for us.

Either your update request is still pending or it has been declined. Assuming that you managed to resist the temptation to hype the revised title and description, the latter is unlikely.

Whilst most editors give priority to update requests, they are volunteers with lives of their own to lead. We can't predict who will process your request or when. I'm sure that no editor invented the 'closed in 2008'. They'll have read it on the website.....

No there isn't, but you might like to investigate using the NOODP metatag in your page headings. Several search engines honour it.
