Site Not Being Approved For Wrong Reason?

Hi,

I have waited about 5 years now for our site to be added, and over that time I have watched the category grow stronger and larger with competitors that are only a couple years old. About 3-4 years ago the editor of the category told me that we were not approved because they believed another site belonged to us as well (which was included in the directory already). This site was actually a forum/site that we were the main sponsor of for a year. We haven't been the sponsor for this site for about 4 years now though. Either way, it was incorrect not to list us because of this mistake.

So...my question is...if this note is still on our listing, could it be why we haven't been listed in the category yet? Can the note be removed from our listing? I am thinking this could help us finally get into our category...as I can only think this is the reason we are not listed. We are a site that is 10 years old and we have 4 retail locations in Chicago as well.

We do not discuss specific sites here. The only thing you can do is suggest your site. (You can include a brief explanation in square brackets at the end of description [like this] if you like.) If, when the suggestion is reviewed, the reviewing editor agrees that your site should be listed, they will list your site.
