Hi there,
I have my personal site http://www.geocities.com/tilakbisht which was listed in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Freelance/T/ AND http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/ categories. Besides that I have also joined a group of freelancers which site address is http://www.indianfreelancers.net and listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/

Now my personal site was removed from its database. I don't know the exact reasons but if editors think my personal site is mirror of group's site then What I do changes in my personal site so that it can also be listed.

If they think my sites are mirror then lots of sites have same content and subject.

Please guide me what should I do.

Thanks :)

The best thing that you can do is to read and re-read the guidelines. I have not looked at your site and I do not know the reasons why it was not listed, however the guidelines are the basis of all of our decisions.

The current forum rules prohibit us from getting into detailed discussions as to why a site is or or not included in the directory.

Since you mentioned mirrors, you might want to pay particular atention to that part of the guidelines. Note that we do not list mirrors or fraternal mirrors.

If you are aware of mirrors that are listed, you are more than welcome to make a posting in the Abuse forum, where we have a lengthy thread for that very purpose.

Your personal site has been removed and will not be relisted. There is nothing you can change on the site to change that. We do not discuss why here.

Hi
Thanks spectregunner & thehelper for your suggestions.
I always read your posting and find you are using very harsh language (sorry to say that) but I think you can response in very polite manners like other editors do.

I have to stop now ;)

sorry again if you feel bad, anyways thanks to both of you.

I will read guidelines and improve the site.

Thanks

I think you are mistaking my short and to the point style for harsh. I believe in keeping it simple. No offense was intended - there is no hidden meaning in my post.

no, i dont think. I know you response to the point but language is... I am not offending.
I also must say that don't take personally. It may be human nature or cultural difference.

Anyways Good Luck
Thanks
