Dear Moderators/Editors,

I have listed my website before, but apparently, it's being removed.
the site name is: www.cheapcard.com.au

I tried to re-submit two times, and it seems not to be approved at all.

Can somebody please kindly tell me what's happening?

I forget in which Directory I listed the site.

But the one that I resubmit is in this directory:

Business/Telecommunications/Services/Phone_Cards

Looking forward to hear from you.

Not a status

This is not a status request, but I just want to know why my site is removed, and what we can do to get it back in the list.

Thanks for your reply.

Any response to your question (beyond giving general possible reasons why a site might be removed) would amount to giving you a status check...which we no longer do.

I don't understand

I don't understand.
The reason why I posted is because it's listed before.

I am not asking how's my currently submitted post.
But, a solid reason why it's removed so that I could improve it.

Like, the redirection, or maybe some prohibited keywords.

Because other guys get pretty well response on this.

There are millions of listable sites out there, and hundreds of milions of unlistable ones.

We spend our time lisitng those that already meet the guidelines for inclusion (documents that any webmaster can read any time they wish) not in reviewing and contacting sites that cannot be listed to change their site so that it is only just good enough to list.

There are certain types of sites that could not be listed without changing the site to do something completely different to what and how they do what they now do. Those sites should never have been submitted in the first place, and those sorts of submissions are already taking up too much editor time just in pressing the delete button.

There are other forums out there than can critique your content, code, style, design, business model, and maybe offer some ODP-related feedback; but for this forum, such actions are entirely off-topic.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply.

So, just to confirm, basically there is no banning on the site right?
My site will definately be able to be listed again, won't it?

Thanks again.

I said no such thing. I haven't looked at the site.

We no longer give status requests.

Your site was removed because, in the judgment of an editor, it was either nonfunctional or didn't have enough unique content. (Why else would a site be removed?)

If the problem was temporary nonfunctionality, the solution would be to get the site back running, resubmit (this you mention you did), and wait for the site to be re-reviewed in the normal course of events (as normal, we don't know how long it would be.

If the other reason applied, there would be no way to "get" it listed. (And this is generally true; there's never really a way to "get" a site listed, there's just a way to make sure it's looked at by an interested editor.)
