I’m writing to find out the status of my request to add my website, www.PatriotsFanShop.com to the Sports/Shopping/Football/American/NFL category.

I would like to have a New England Patriots section created and have my site added to that location.

Would it be possible to know when my review for inclusion into the open source directory will be finalized? How would I know when you have made a decsion? Will I receive an e-mail or do I just keep checking.

Here is an update:

The submissions have fallen victim to the consequences of suggesting a site multiple times to multiple categories... here it is:

A submission to category Recreation/Collecting/Pins was moved by a reviewing editor to category Shopping/Sports/Theme_Merchandise because the site sells more than just pins.

Then an editor looking to weed out duplicate suggestions of the same site, seeing more than one, decided to delete the one in the category you named.

So, the current status is - it is waiting for editorial review in the category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Sports/Theme_Merchandise . It may well get moved elsehwre before

As for the answer to your other question, looking at how that category is structured, once a site is found to be listed in that category, a subcat will be created.

Please note that I have not looked at the site, and am making no judgment on what the editors have done - I am merely giving you the status on your submission(s).
