The only issue is that the purpose of this forum is to provide status check. It is not to assist people in getting their sites placed.
We don't tell people where to submit their sites because in order to do so, we would have to to a de-facto review of the site, which is not the purpose of the forum.
Additionally, the editors who volunteer their time here are almost always not the editor who made the determination, so we are in no position to debate or argue the merits or another editor's decision.
Lack of being listed almost always comes down to lack of unique content. This is either in terms of the content or the site, or the content required by the category description. For example, if you submit a site to /Shopping that does not have prices or an online shopping cart, it is going to get rejected. Similarly, if you submit to a major city within regional, but you are really in the less expensive real estate in a small suburb, don't hold your breath waiting for that listing to appear.
