I know you guys are busy.

Unfortunately I don't remember the category it went into but I think it was: http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Electronics/

or possibly in the computer section

It is not in that category, or any of it's subcategories. In addition, it has not been deleted or moved from anywhere--so that is not where it was submitted to.

Do you recommend adding the site back to the DMOZ in the aforementioned category? If not what is my best course of action?

Yes, you should resubmit. You may be better submitting to http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Electronics/Video/DVD_Players/ as it is more specific - I appreciate your site is about DVD Recorders and not players but it's the nearest we've got.

I've re-submitted the site to: http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Electronics/Video/

I put it there because my site primarily deals with video equipment.

I know the editors are busy but is it too soon to be asking about site status of:

Site was re-submitted back on April 14 to:

http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Electronics/Video

It seemed like it a good fit in that category.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you mean to ask if your site has been reviewed (as opposed to submitted)...there has been no change, your site is still in the queue.
