>Can you give me any more info than still awaiting review?
No. If it hasn't been reviewed, then what can we know about it?
>I know someone from the dmoz was looking at my site
What's the term for divination based on the random movements of alien creatures? We really need to add this to the FAQ.
I'll take your word that some user-agent accessing the site specified dmoz.org as a REFERER. I would not draw the conclusion that you do. (But, OK, what would I know about how an editor accesses sites? Or what non-editor-driven DMOZ user-agents there might be? I'm only an editor.) But in any case, the facts remain: IF an editor visited, they didn't tell us anything. There are thousands of active editors, and only a small percentage of them visit here -- and of those that visit here, some at least avoid discussing sites that they personally edited.
As for asking for a special priority for a site review, we have no mechanism for that, feel no need for such a mechanism, and absolutely cannot list this forum be abused that way. The directory gets built most efficiently (and therefore, all submitters are better off in the long run) when editors work on categories and/or "batches" of similar sites rather than on randomly prioritized single sites.
