Status submission for 10000mb.com

Hello,

Please let me know the status of http://www.10000mb.com
submitted to
1. http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting/1/
2. http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...ies/E/Elk_Grove_Village/Business_and_Economy/

I had put in a submission month's ago. I had done everything that was suggested such as making my site more appealing, and took out the affiliate links as suggested on the site, and they were not making any money anyway, just taking space away from our actual business which is hosting. I had also submitted to the regional section as well, as suggested, with inclusion of my address and phone number on the site. I was just wondering if anyone has any type of time frame for visiting my site. I would have opened my previous post, however, I had to get a new computer.

Thank you so much,

http://www.10000mb.com

I had put in a request awhile ago, but my computer crashed. Since then, I could not remember the login I had used...so last month, I put in a new one.

I had submitted to these two sections of DMOZ.

1. http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting/1/
2. http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...ies/E/Elk_Grove_Village/Business_and_Economy/

Thank you,

I had put in a submission month's ago...then again on October 3rd. I had done everything that was suggested such as making my site more appealing, and took out the affiliate links as suggested on the site, and they were not making any money anyway, just taking space away from our actual business which is hosting. It's been declined.

It conflicts with our affiliate reseller guidelines and isn't listable. Please don't resubmit.

We have no affiliation on our site at all.

We had submitted last year, when we were using affiliation programs that were only taking up space. They have been off over a year, since the DMOZ editor told us what to do, and what the problem was. Does this mean that we cannot submit at all, even though we have no affiliations?????

Dmoz has not been to our site

We just did a monthly check, and no one has even been to our site from the dmoz.org (editors), site. So no one has even bothered to look at our site, to see there are no affiliate programs on there. And has not been for a very long while. We are strictly website hosting. We have a copy of our Cook Country Business Registration if you need that. We are an actual website hosting business.

When investigating abuse, I often avoid going to a site directly from dmoz.org. And when editing I often keep multiple tabs active, so that I don't go to many links directly from ANYWHERE visible. I know I'm not the only editor that works this way -- many highly active editors have worked out similar techniques to use their time efficiently.

So -- there are no valid conclusions you can draw from your data.

Not very surprising. Some of us carefully avoid doing just that :) .

You no longer appear to be a compunetcentral.com reseller so I've resubmitted your website to Computers/../Hosting/1/. You don't seem to offer any locality specific services so there's no point additionally submitting there.

We can't predict the timescale to review but if it hasn't been listed in 6 months, by all means ask again in this same thread.

Thank you

Thank you Jim. I really appreciate your looking into it. I will wait as long as needed. Yes, I was not sure about the local specific, but I was not too sure about how dmoz worked regarding specific regions.

Thank you again Jim. I appreciate it.

six months

Hello,

I have looked and watched everyday with baited breath hoping to see a dmoz editor at our site since last October...to no avail. So as requested, I have saved this link, and am seeking to be indexed in dmoz after a six month period...due to backups in the editors logs.

Regards,

I believe that 6 months means 6 months from message #4 (declined) or #8 (reinserted in the list waiting for review), so you still have another few weeks to go.

I'm sure one of the senior editors will correct me if I'm wrong.

Since you were given a status check on November 6, you are not eligible for an update until six months have passed from that date.

Please return to this thread at that time. I'll let you do the math.
