As far as the editor (if it was indeed an editor) promising ahead of time to list a site, that's something I would never do and would never encourage another editor to do. How silly is that.

Any promises (or predictions or proposed plans, whatever that was meant to be) a particular editor makes, you MUST discuss with him -- not any other editor.
