site submision question ...

Hello,

I have submitted my site, and it was listed briefly - then it was removed and is no longer there, any ideas why this might happen?

I've tried to resubmit it today in the hopes it will be listed again ...

There are several reason a website is no longer listed.

It might be temporary
- website was found to be not accessible by one of our tools (a review by one of the editors will determine what caused the problem)
- website was listed in wrong category and was moved to a better one (it is waiting review)

It might be permanent
- the website at time of removal did not fit our current guidelines
- the website was listed by mistake and the mistake was corrected

I just realised by reading through some other posts in here that I wasn't supposed to relist my website as its already been suggested by me ... oopps - I hope this doesn't hurt my chances of being listed. I know this is a massive project and that its run by volunteers and its a brilliant resource I truly didn't intend to waste anyone's time - I appreciate that this search engine must be flooded with requests daily.

I will go and wait very very patiently now ...

One resubmit isn't going to get you into the "spammers hall of fame." Not to worry. What's on the site is much more important than what's in the suggestion box.
