We have submitted our site:

a number of times here:
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Jewelry/Body/
(every 3-5 weeks) since Dec 2002 with no luck and have even emailed the editor a few times in the hopes of hearing back about what we might be doing wrong.

As far as I can tell, the submission and the site and our submission process (waiting at least 3 weeks each time) meets all of dmoz's requirements. In addition, we feel the inclusion of this site would be a worthy addition to the directory and this category as we offer very unique pieces.

If there are any problems with the site, please let us know and they will surely be rectified. Otherwise, I would appreciate it greatly if you would include our site in your category.

Unfortunately, that category is somewhat backed up. Re-submitting does you no good, since old submissions just overwrite the new ones, with a later submission date, which moves them down the list if an editor chooses to sort by date (which may or may not be the case).

After glancing at your site briefly (I didn't review it), it seemed much more appropriate for http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Jewelry/Body/Piercing/ , so I put your URL there, where it is awaiting review in what is a much smaller pool than in the original category, though it's still over 75 sites.

Please wait at least one month (and I'd wait two or three, if I were you) before checking the status again in this thread. There is no need to resubmit your site. Sorry I don't have better news.
