Hello, my name is Brian Maloney and I am the site owner of ValuePrep.com. I submitted this site in late Dec of '04, however, I do not know when it will be looked at. Furthermore, I would like to know if dmoz did indeed receive it? If anyone who is the editor of society>relationship>advice can assist or if anyone as an editor can check it's status, it would be more than appreciated.

Thank You,
Sincerely,
Brian

Yes, there is no other category that I would of submitted to at least to my knowledge. I could look through my deleted email if dmoz sent me something after I submitted. Otherwise, is there a way to see if the site was submitted to any dmoz category in late Dec '04, Early Jan '05? Is there anyway I can find out?
Because I do not want to submit again and again to indirectly annoy anyone.

Thank You,
Sincerely,
Brian

Well, we don't send e-mails, so searching through your archives will be a monumental waste of time (and we wouldn't want to waste your time :D )

Go ahead and resubmit to the single best category and come back here in a month and let us know that category -- then we'll take a peek.

Submission status of http://valueprep.com

http://dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Advice/ is the category I submitted to on Feb 28th '05. I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to review the site and what it's actual status is in entering dmoz? Any info. would be much appreciated.

Thank You for your time,
Sincerely,
Brian Maloney

When sites are awaiting a review, how long would one anticipate an acceptance or not? Just would like to know for piece of mind, furthermore, when would I make another inquiry as to it's acceptance or not?

Thank You,
Brian

All of this information is in our FAQ, and I should just point you in that direction.

However, waiting time is from two or three days to two or three years, or something in between. There is no way to preduct when, or how long. Nor is there any way for you to influence the processs.

Additional status checks are at six month intervals. Not from submission date, but from the date of the last status check.

We tend to get unhelpful when people come back early, even by a single day.
