Hello, I was wondering the submission status of: http://www.askvetadvice.com
The Category submitted to was:
Health/Animal/Veterinary Medicine/Veterinarians/United States

Also, I recently saw that there was a category:
Reference/Ask an Expert/For a Fee
Would that be a better category to submit to? Should I resubmit?

My Description also contained some "you" references. If I resubmitted I could correct this. Please let me know what the best course of action might be - Thanks!

The specific vet category would be the best one. I wouldn't worry about resubmitting for a very minor change to the description - most likely the editor editing it would make some modifications anyway.

OK - cool, thanks for the info.
Also, is the website in the queue still? I feel the Veterinarians/United States is the best category, because it is a site to be used by visitors anywhere (but primarily in the US).

Based on other sites in that category, it seems to be in the right place. It's only a relatively short queue (about 10 sites) so hopefully you won't be waiting too long to be listed. I've shortened the unreviewed queue a bit by forwarding some submissions to the appropriate State categories.

Hello - I am just checking back on this site - should I be more specific with my submission? I feel that the category I submitted to is good - but I could submit one more level down. Please let me know. The category submitted to is:
http://dmoz.org/Health/Animal/Veterinary_Medicine/ and I can add Veterinarians to the end of that. Thank You!

Ugh. The answer should be "yes" and yet I see no such subcat. Perhaps we need an "Online Advice" or "Chats and Forums" subcategory?

When I look at whats in http://dmoz.org/Health/Animal/Veterinary_Medicine/ it seems to me that a lot of the sites are aimed at Vets rather than pet owners. As a pet owner I would be looking in http://dmoz.org/Health/Animal/Pets/ - there are also some similar sites in http://dmoz.org/Health/Animal/, but as a consumer I'd be looking in pets - look there for a site called Family Pet Doctor

What you really need is http://dmoz.org/Health/Animal/Pets/Online_Advice/, but that won;t happen too soon

Ok - should I resubmit the site then to:
http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Animal/Pets/? The site is designed for pet owners and not veterinary professionals and we offer more than just online veterinary questions now. Thanks for the help with this and opinions - please let me know if I should resubmit to the above category.
