Hi! Thank you for your time. I know you editors are very busy. I'm not going to ask for the status of my submission because you don't have time for that stuff. Since I submitted my site to you in May, It's already been indexed in the major search engines (Google PR 4) and doing O.K.

I just wanted to let you know about the website, so, if you want to, you can take a look at it to see if it would be of benefit to your visitors. My site specializes in covering all the areas of Health and Fitness from the unique perspective of simplicity....plain language. Aside from a couple linked pages, all 300 pages are original content written by me. I've gone to the extra trouble of text cross-linking, between diseases, nutrients and fitness programs, so, for example, when you read about antioxidants on the cancer page, you can jump to the page on antioxidants.

The site is great for anyone who wants a quick, plain language explanation of a disease, condition, exercise, diet or nutrient...they could then take it further with links to more detailed info at sites like NIH, NCI, USDA, FDA, etc.

While the clear focus of my site is patient and health support information, I've also included a script to help people find health resources at Amazon if they wish to shop for them.

In my 10 years on the Internet, I've never seen another site like it. Here's the URL if you want to take a look: <URL removed> I think it could benefit your visitors.

Thanks for your time!:)

By suggesting the site, you have done all you need to bring it to the attention of an edtor with the right expertese ( :) as opposed to a folk dance editor like me). Nothing you say in this forum will affect when your site is reviewed.

If you read through the FAQ you can find more information.

so difficult to be directed?

so difficult to be directed?

i think the reason is enough to be directed in ODP.Maybe it's the editors that's not enough!

Thanks

;) Thanks for the feedback. I've been through the FAQ and everything. Have two other sites listed, so...not a beginner. ODP doesn't seem to be essential any more to get good traffic and search rankings, so I'm sure the schedule will lighten up for the editors...fewer people pounding on the desks and such. You guys do awesome work. I must admit I haven't seen the folk-dancing area, though. Have a good day.

Charlene,

You do not need to post more about your site. This forum is for comments and questions about DMOZ. What you do with and to your site is something that is relevant only to you.
