Hello,

Thank you for your help editors. I need to know the status of my site submission. The URL is:

I sumbmitted the site within this directory catagory:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Toys_and_Games/Varied_Merchandise/I/

The webmaster knows what content is on the site and where he got it from -- that is, whether it's unique or not.

What can we tell him that he doesn't already know?

Is my web site not unique? I built it myself while using an application. I cannot find another site like mine in the Directory. I have images and product descriptions from my supplier, but other than that my site is completely original. Please help.

I just revised my earlier post. Can you tell me what is not "unique." I am stumbling on this term. I read through the rules and regulations, and felt my site qualified.

I have again looked over the http://dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html#notinclude site and I meet the criteria.

As stated in the forum guidelines

Please note that at the bottom of the "add URL" screen it says "Netscape and the ODP have unfettered editorial discretion to determine the structure and content of the directory" and "a site's placement in the directory is subject to change or deletion at any time"

If I add substantially more relevant content (text, images, links, etc) may I resubmit the site?

With shopping sites the most important content is the products being sold, in a case where a site is seling products that are not unique then adding text, links or new photos would not help.

Thank you. I search the OPD with the primary products I offer, and am unable to view/find any web site in the OPD with such products. Where do I go from here?

There are many other venues on the Internet for you to list your site. There are search engines, business directories and the like. that is probably your best bet.
