Also, is it possible to change the submitted URL of this site to

even before it is listed in the directory?
Or do I have to wait until it is listed before I can request the change of URL?

It appears you failed to mention www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.co.nr - which is already listed. Submitting the other URL was in contradiction to the submission guidelines and the site has been refused, do not resubmit it.

Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.

Failure to mention www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.co.nr

I'm very sorry that I failed to mention this address. This is because I honestly did not realize that it got listed because someone else submitted it and after it was submitted, I realized that it violated the guideline of
"Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address."

That is why I submitted the site with the geocities URL. And then, since we decided to change to a domain name, and I knew I should not submit a mirror site, I asked how to change this URL.

I realize this is our fault and that we're making your volunteer work harder but I'm hoping you believe me when I say this was an honest mistake and not a way to get more listings in an underhanded way. Can I still update the existing listing to http://www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.com/ ? We are planning to phase out the redirect URL.

Put something on the geocities site directing the user to the new url. Can be automatic or manual. Then use the "update listing" link to request the change. Thanks.

Thanks very much for your suggestion. I have done as you suggested and directed the user to our new URL http://www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.com. However, when I tried updating the listing, I got this statement "The site http://www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.co.nr/ is not listed in this category." so I was not able to update the listing.

That's because it was listed under its real URL of http://www.geocities.com/plastic_surgery_phil/ .

That has a redirection notice and a link to http://www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.com/ so I've made the change.
