The site is waiting there.

However, I would not be surprised to see that category disappear (or have its listing criteria restricted) rather than be expanded. The reason is that in the past couple of years we've had to reconsider the idea of "bid request" sites from the perspective of our core "information content online" value. Such sites don't have information online, and they can't really be reviewed...so we can't really list them.

We haven't actually implemented the new standards on this category, so don't expect the sites that are listed there to be reflective of our current standards.

I believe that what hutcheson is saying is that we are reconsidering whether or not we want to list this type of site at all.

We are building a large comprehensive directory of most kinds of websites, but we don't list all websites. We don't list affiliate sites, distributors, or hate literature for example. Now hate literature is definitely bad. Being a distributor and having a catalog is not. However, our guidelines clearly state:

Sites devoted to the sales and distribution of a single product should be avoided... if the site is merely a distributor for a manufacturer already listed in the Directory.

We simply choose not to list them. In future we may decide not to list bid services any longer. (Apparently Business editors are discussing that now.)

This would mean your best bet would be to concentrate on getting listings elsewhere.
