I'm sorry, but we do status checks only once every six months. But in the mean time you may have a look at the category page to see if changes have take place.

You may additionally submit your site to the category of your locality, Regional: North America: United States: Michigan: Localities: B: Belding. The two submissions will be reviewed by two editors, and in the end your site might get listed in both categories.

Hello, I submitted my site 5 months ago and I was wondering it's current status. I actually submitted it to http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Products_and_Equipment/Fire_Fighting_Equipment/ and yet it has been listed already to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Michigan/Localities/B/Belding/ without me submitting it. Someone suggested attempting to list it in multiple categories but then several weeks later I noticed it was added there (and I had not yet tried to submit to that category). There is a slim possibility that I may have submitted it there and forgot that I did.... but I really don't remember doing that.... maybe I'm just being forgetful.

Does this happen often when an editor notices it can be listed in another area and so they'll add it there as well? Anyways, the real question was the status on the first submission. Thank you!

In reverse order -- you still may not ask for the status of your Business suggestion until 6 months after your last status report (post #4).

Editors frequently copy suggestions -- even those they have not immediately decided to publish -- to the appropriate Regional category. Alternatively, an editor might have moved the suggestion to the appropriate Regional category, or published it without a suggestion. If we knew which it was in your case, we still wouldn't tell you....

Thanks for the info about the suggestions being moved or also placed in additional categories. Also, I apologize for inquiring for a status check before the half year marker.
