Site Submission

HI,

I am new to all this but i was told to submit my site to DMOZ to enhance its Google ranking. I submitted the site a week ago to the following category: Business > Environment > Waste Management > Recycling > Metal

How long does it normally take to be listed and will i be contacted when it is?

There is no "normal" time. Time between suggestion and review may vary between a few days and several years.
And no you won't be contcated when the site is reviewed. The reason is that we do not provide such services.

BTW there is no magical increase in Google ranking when a site is listed in DMOZ. The thing you were told is a myth.
