Site submitted without results - it's been over a year . pls help

Hi,
I submitted my website and followed all the rules. My website is a webstore behind a real business that has been around for a few years. It also has a lot of unique resources. Would really like to find out why it's not getting listed. Please help :eek:

The two main reasons why any particular site is not listed in the directory (not just yours) are
  1. it has not yet been found and reviewed by a volunteer
  2. it does not meet the Selection Criteria
You can check the second one for yourself, of course, but the first one is out of everyone's control. Nobody knows where a volunteer will work next, or when, or what on. :)

if that's the case, i would like to become a volunteer :)
will they let me if i suggested a website?
