I submitted 4 long-standing sites for updates (new URLS). This was taken care of quickly and accurately by the respective editors; however, I have noticed that the top level of a search still reflects the old URLs. It seems that Google continues to pick up the old locations and DMOZ has the old URLs listed at that level. Is this a normal occurrence? Should these URLs be updated as well to reflect the correct URL? Below are the listings of incorrect URLs that I have copied directly from the top levels of searches. All URL's should begin with www.neonalley.com. If one were to click on a respective category he would then arrive at the new and correct URL. Of course, clicking on the active link would send the user to the old URL.
