My site was apparently de-listed. It was on DMOZ about a month ago. Then I received an email last week from "megrisoft" in India telling me that my site, which was submitted on September 1, 2006, has been rejected from open directory project India. I did not sumbit this to India and don't know how it was submitted.
Here is the message without my url:
Your site http://www.xxxxxx.xxxx that was submitted on 1-Sep-2006 has not been approved for
any of following reason.
1. Your site content do not belong to India
2. It is doorway site
3. It may have adult contents
# 1 is undoubtedly correct.
So after receiving this I looked for my site on DMOZ.org and it no longer exists!
I do not know if they are related or this is coincidence, but I think there is a relationship.
Any thoughts on how this could have happened and any suggestions on remediation would be greate! I don't care about India but I do care about the U.S.
Thank you,
danarich
