Hi,

My site www.cigarettesforless.com has been deleated form dmoz directory.
I have only changed the design of the site, the contents remained the same. The site wasn't spammed, there was nothing wrong done.
Why the site has been removed?

It appears your site was hijacked last month, or you failed to renew the registration in time. At some point, it will be re-examined, and if all is ok, it will then be put back in. There is nothing you need to do.

I bought this domain from a former owner half an year ago on a legal ground. The domain is registered till 2009. I still have no idea why it has been removed. I don't think the fact that the owner of the site has been changed could have caused any problems.

Problems? No problems. The owner of the site changes, and the site is moved to the "pending review" pool. So where's the problem?

It really doesn't matter whether you (or I) understand why this action was taken. I assume some editor did something that (in his judgment) was a step towards a better directory. That happens thousands of times a day. You've verified that there was a change of the critical content. (For a business/retail site, the critical content is the information about the company offering goods or services, which by definition changes DRASTICALLY when the COMPANY changes.) So obviously the editor did a right thing. That's enough for me.
