Are you able to view south Asian language content in your browser? Do you want to know what editing tools are available for editing in south Asian languages?

If yes, please post your specific queries here. I would anyway be posting howtos for this in the future, but if there are specific queries, it will help start off a discussion.

Were you able to read the previous post in Devanagari? If not, have a look at http://geocities.com/hanu_man_ji - it will give you some tips to setup your browser for this. Or, you could post here to get help on writing and reading Devanagari and other Indic languages using your browser.

forum site encoding

The forum site is encoded in iso-8859-1.
Now that the entire dmoz is in utf-8, and the South Asian/Indian subcontinent cats are in utf-8 since before that, would it not be advisable to have the forum pages utf-8 encoded?
