St of groups.msn.com/PakistanPopularCultureHistory

Hi,

I submitted my site
http://groups.msn.com/PakistanPopularCultureHistory

to google about a month back. It is not on the search results yet. I submitted it to the following category:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Regional/Asia/Pakistan/Society_and_Culture/History/

Can anyone let me know the status. Should I resubmit the site to the same category? I really need the site to be up on google so that others can join in. I have a worry that the site may lose the existing members if others dont find it and join in.

For reference, I gave logixlord@yahoo.com as the email address.

First, you might have submitted to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Pakistan/Society_and_Culture/History/ since we are not google, only that they import our data.

Second there is no submission for that URL waiting, nor has one been processed yet. Either you submitted a different URL or to a different category or received an error message while submitting.

If this really is the one best category for the site, I suggest resubmission.

Hi Windharp,

Thanks for you help, the site's main page can now be seen in google's search search results.

One question that I have is this: Only the first page shows up, if one searches on google about certain message postings etc, certain unique phrases used in the messages etc, they dont show up yet. Is there going to be a lag before which all pages start showing up on google, or is this as much as it can be done for a message board?? I do see some other message boards having their postings showing up in the google results, so I am assuming it is a matter of time, rather than a matter of policy.

As has been said, we are not Google. We have no control over what they choose to do with their search results.

On those other bulletin boards, I've seen discussions about what it takes to get Google to index a forum. So I'd assume it's partly a matter of website design. But I don't have any personal experience in that...
