I submitted www.doxieland.com in the following category
http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Pets/Dogs/Breeds/Hound_Group/Dachshund/Breeders/ I was just chcking on the status. I am sure everyone is backed up from not being able to check sites last week. I hope things are better this week.

The submission awaits review along with over 100 other sites.

Given the lack of activity in this category, I would suggest waiting several months before asking for another update.

Sorry the news isn't any better.

Could someone please check the status on www.doxieland.com
I recently checked and the status was awaiting review in the following cat. http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Pets/Dogs/Breeds/Hound_Group/Dachshund/Breeders/

I then asked a question in another forum and it got moved to this forum and now there are 2 threads. according to the following thread I am awaiting review in this cat.

The following is the other thread. I am sorry there are 2 and if it is possible can you combine both of these to eleminate futher confusion.

That's why we like to keep everything about one site in one thread - that means less confusion.

Your submission to Recreation: Pets: Dogs: Breeds: Hound Group: Dachshund: Breeders was reviewed on October 7th. The editor decided to move the link to Regional: North America: United States: Alabama: Localities: A: Arley: Business and Economy.

Another editor reviewed it in that category today, but hasn't decided whether to list it or not yet.

Thanks for the reply. I understand why you like one thread.
The second thread was started in submission and not site submission status. It was moved here to site submission status. I am just trying to make it simpler for future inquries. Should I inquire about this thread or the other thread in the future?

I was going to review the site this morning but it was displaying a "This page cannot be displayed" error. I checked the whois and saw that the domain doesn't expire until 13-jul-2012 so I figured it was just under construction and held it back to check later. I will review it again as soon as I get a chance and add it to the appropriate regional category.

Your site is properly listed in the Regional section of the directory so that listing will stay no matter what.

Your site was rejected from the Breeders category apparently because the reviewing editor did not think it properly fit there.

Your site was not rejected from the Breeders category because you were listed in Regional. If your site fit in the Breeders category it could have been listed in both places because we can double list in Topical and Regional.
