Status check for www.wilcomm.net

Hi all,
I have submitted a change for my URL http://www.wilcomm.net in the section http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/California/Localities/S/San_Bruno/Business_and_Economy/

Shortly after I first submitted this site I had some DNS issues and had to put it on a different URL as a redirect and have been awaiting a couple of months for this to be rectified. The site is listed as http://www.cds1.net/~wschultz.

Would it be Kosher for me to put a page that redirects from the cds1.net/~wschultz to wilcomm.net? I know that this is prohibited under most circumstances, would it still apply if the URL is wrong?

Well, right now both URLs are working and have content about the company (albeit not the same design). If you want wilcomm.net to be the URL used, you should set cds1.net/~wschultz to redirect to wilcomm.net and then submit an update request (wait until after our server upgrades are finished, though).

Ah... I forgot about the server upgrades. OkieDokie, I'l do that. I had made a submission change request a couple of months ago, wasn't sure if a redirect page was the way I should go as I know that dmoz frowns on them.

Thanks for the tip!

Just so I do this right, is it possible to see if the request is still submitted? or shall I submit again in a couple weeks when the server is available?

Actually, we like it when there is a redirect done the way you have it, with a page saying we've moved giving the new url. :) Links like this are very helpful to us.

What we don't like is when someone submits a vanity url such as BestFurniture.com and it has an invisible redirect to another url. We never add automatic redirects or redirect page links to the directory. However, we do list the pages that they point to if those pages are suitable for listing.

I believe your url has been updated now.

I can see that an editor has gone into the site, however the link is not yet updated in the directory.

Am I correct to assume that it just hasn't propagated down yet?

It's listed, yes :)
Just wait a few days for the public pages to begin updating again.
