It has been 7 months since we made our site submission and upon review of organisations similar to ours, we should have probably submitted under the more appropriate category of

Kids and Teens: School Time

Is there are process for changing categories and if so, does this send us to the back of the queue?

Kids and Teens is for sites that are targetted at kids and teens, not sites targetted at parents selling products for kids and teens. See the difference? Your site wouldn't be appropriate for K&T.

Not that http://dmoz.org/Reference/Education/K_through_12/School_Improvement would be the right one, either. That site is for sites about the improvement of schools, not the educating of children.

Changing submission

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I have had a look at more categories and their descriptions and it would appear that:

Reference: Education: Products and Services

would be most appropriate as we create products for 3 - 12 year olds which span the Early Childhood category as well as part of K through 12.

So is there a process for changing the original submission so as to not risk exclusion due to duplicate URL submissions?
