Can you pay a fee for faster review?

I know that Yahoo will charge a fee for faster submission review. Is there any way to pay (or prove site quality or anything) for faster review of BizClassifiedsPlace.com?

No. That's part of what AOL agreed to (the "social contract") to keep the volunteer editors.

What if my Category has no listed editor?

I just noticed that most of the categories/subcategories on the directory have one or more editors listed on the bottom. http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Classifieds/ does not have one listed . Does this mean that my submission will not be reviewed until there is an editor for this category? Would it be wise to get in touch with an editor of the parent category (shopping)? - even though I know that they have a million submissions to worry about. Or will somebody eventually get around to reviewing the site for a category they don't normally edit anyway?
