A site can only be suggested to one category - any more and you breach the guidelines and risk total exclusion of the site. As a concession this time, which one do you want to keep?

There is no status information to report. If the most recent suggestion was a month or more ago, then you may resubmit once to the single best category and check back again in this same thread after one month.

If it was (most recently) suggested less than a month ago, please check back in this same thread after it's been a month.

speaking of status check, why is there so much mystery about it? a very simple state flow system with automates inquiry (by email) system would substantially simplify things. i realize dmoz is a fully voultary project, so i can't ask for much, but i hear serious attitude about giving answers to status requests (dont re-request within a month and such) and i dont think its fair to anyone that there isnt an automated system for handling these requests.
