Please Help Me Understand And Improve

I don't understand exactly what you mean do you mean my directory lacks enough links for you as for content I have been working on this site for a few months and the site is about 50mb of data.

Please tell me what it is your looking for I really want to be listed in odp and unlike the 1000 directories listed in the directories/dmoz category I am creating a unique database of what I think are High Quality Links.Unique Databases Are becoming rare.

I was looking over other directories in the subcategory to see what they our and to help me in designing to get into odp I see links such as http://www.e-lynks.com/#list which seems to have less content then mine along with less organization.

Basically you need more links:
ODP's computers and business categories have 150,000 and 250,000 sites listed respectively. Yours have 5 and 30(ish)...

If you are going for a comprehensive directory (all categories) you get compared against the most comprehensive that currently exist (Yahoo, Looksmart, ODP etc) - not the worst.

If you are just trying to specialise then you need to be focused. We do list specialist directories - but they tend to be the specialist directories that have more sites than ODP in their area of specialism. (Also specialist directories don't belong in the category you submitted to, they belong in the topic area they specialise in.)

Existing listings may not be a good guide - our standards have got higher over time, many sites that are listed currently would not be accepted if submitted now if they are clearly deficient to existing sites.

We tend to say, look at your area of focus, is your site better than or at least as good as those who do it best? If so - then you'll probably be accepted. Making a web directory that meets those criteria is a pretty hard thing to do considering the existing sites out there- making one that covers all subjects on your own is probably impossible.
