Your site was added to Shopping: Home and Garden: Accessories: Country and Rustic on July 23rd and will be visible to the public as soon as the public pages refresh, which will hopefully be soon.

If in the future the site changes and would fit better in another catagory, how would I go about do that?

Each category has a link called 'Update URL'. If you want to change category, click on that, and then ask for the editor to move the site to the new category (preferably given in the form Category/Subcategory instead of Category: Subcategory as it's easier for us to cut and paste into the form).

The only downer is that you'll go back into the submissions queue for the new category unless the editor can edit in both.

Over a month ago I requested that the site be listed under the category of http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Accessories/.


Could I please be provided with a status of the category change?


In addition, the description reads:

Is there a way for the description read close to?

Offers gift and decor selections that appeal to the rustic, Americana, and shabby chic style. Also, provide free project ideas, recipes and kitchen suggestions.

Actually, what you submitted was a suggestion for a new listing rather than a change. But no matter, it was reviewed and the current category was deemed appropriate. For what it's worth, I agree with that decision.

On the description change, the chance of getting anything at all like what you suggest is so small I wouldn't waste time trying for it.

If you think the description is inaccurate, take a look at other descriptions in the category and suggest one in similar style. Use the "Update url" link at the upper right corner of the category page to suggest the change.
