Hi, I was wondering if anyone could let me know about the status of the submission of http://www.beautyofjava.com.
I submitted it to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Ethnic_and_Regional/Asian/
It was submitted on 5/30/2003

Thank you very much! Just out of curiousity, how long does it usually take to update?

It "usually" takes a few minutes or hours. Right now, during the upgrades that are taking place, there's no way to know.

Hi Guys, I just wanted to check-in because its been 6 days since someone added this site to the directory and its still not in there. Is this just due to the upgrade?

Hi Guys, I don't like wasting other peoples time, but the status for this site is very strange and I wanted to get a little information on what was happening.

When I do a search on dmoz for BeautyofJava.com I see the site listed -
http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=beautyofjava

But when I go to the actual directory, its not there:
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Ethnic_and_Regional/Asian/

Any ideas/thoughts? Should I just continue to wait... more issues with upgrades... or is this something abnormal that would need looking into?

We're having synchronization issues related to our recent upgrade effort. Notice the date at the bottom of the category page: April 13. Your site was listed on 2 August, and will appear when the page is next refreshed.

Be further reassured that directories which use our data will get the version with your site in it even if the publicly viewable page hasn't updated when they get the data.

Want some more reassurance? You can (temporarily) look in http://editors.dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Ethnic_and_Regional/Asian/ . I expect this will not be available to the public once we get everything working.
