You do not need to submit. The site is waiting there for an editor.

We have editors who CAN edit that category: we do not know when they WILL edit there. (That fact is the same for all categories...)

Your English is good enough. Just don't ask me to reply in Malay.

Hello..

Thanx for the answer.. You mean all category have their own editor? i afraid at that category have no editor because the attention "Volunteer to edit this category" You mean the editor of all category will edit anytime in two week after we completed the subimission form? So we just have to wait for two week before our website will be submit to search engine?

thanx a lot

**LoL, i not ask you to reply in malay. :)

No, not all categories have their OWN editor. But many editors -- hundreds -- can edit EVERY category. And editors can edit their own categories' subcategories. The "Regional/Asia" category editors can edit "Regional/Asia/Malaysia" and all its subcategories.

So even if no editor is LISTED there, doesn't mean no editor CAN edit there.

Of course, not all editors edit everywhere they can. I can edit in Malay language categories, but you really don't want me to. I can edit in Rock Music categories, but I don't want to.

And then, sometimes editors work in a category they don't like, just because it needs work.

Now, which of these things will happen in your category, and when? Sorry, but nobody can tell. It might be two minutes; it is usually more than two months; it is sometimes more than two years.

The practical lesson is simple: submit your site, but then pretend the ODP doesn't exist. Promote your site everywhere else, just as if you were the only person that COULD promote it.

Otherwise, if your site waits two years for a review and is rejected, you would have wasted two years and have nothing to show for it. If your site waits two years for a review and is accepted, it will be better off with your efforts PLUS the ODP than with the ODP MINUS your effort.
