Someone would be glad to help. We just need a clickable link to the submitted category as required in the Posting Guidelines so someone can look at it for you.

Thanks.

Hi there, kate and I are on the same marketing team here at L.I.S.T. Inc and DefinitiveData, Inc. I also work with Air, Land and Sea.

Thanks again,

Tina

Did you both read the notices when you submitted the sites? Especially the bit that says

Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.

Yes, we did. Only one of us submitted the sites. We recently redesigned the site and have successfully gained a 6 Page Ranking and we promote the site heavily. We were eager to see the submission varification since the president of the company has been asking us equally. We are a business to business and business techonology publishing mailing list company. Have our listings been eliminated?

L.I.S.T. Incorporated & DefinitiveDatabase

L.I.S.T. Incorporated and DefinitiveData, Inc. are two separate companies. They have two separate Tax ID numbers and sell two different products. L.I.S.T. Incorporated represents separate mailing lists owned by other companies (much the same as a real estate broker.) DefinitiveData, Inc. owns the database product they sell (called The DefinitiveDatabase) which is an aggregation of many different lists. We do some cross-selling between the sites and products (as any smart marketer would.) However, the two companies are affiliated only in that they are both owned by the same person and share some of the same staff.

So, for instance, if I was a publisher who owned 2 different magazines and had 2 different websites for these magazines, only one magazine site would be listable because they are owned by the same company? I'm just trying to understand your policy.

You aren't a magazine publisher so lets be more specific.

If you are in the mailing list industry and have two products and two different websites to promote those products only one would be listable.

Maybe - maybe not. It would be judgement as to whether listing the magazine and the publisher in two different categories would be justified. That's an editor decision. However, if would be against the guidelines for the publisher to submit his main site and to submit each site for the magazine.

For example Business Week has a listing as does the parent company - McGraw-Hill - in fact due to the depth of content and broad range of products - they have quite a few listings.

Two magazines, from the same publishder on both gardening and computers would have separate listings - they are very unrelated.

If your company created another piece of software for tracking geneaolgy for example, we would consider seriously listing that sofware separately. But if you created ten more web sites all for a different mailing related database - you still get one listing for everything.

OK. So we misunderstood the definition of "same or related sites." Please accept our apologies. If we can only get one site listed, it should be L.I.S.T. Incorporated. Any word on the status of that submission? Thanks.
