Status for livinginvietnam.com

I am not really sure that my website has been listed yet (after 7 months). When I type Vietnam or Living in Vietnam on yahoo my web doesn't appear at all???

Can you tell me what are my status or what should I change to have a better ranking?

No, you don't need to resubmit. It's awaiting review in Regional/Asia/Vietnam/

This site has a few 404s and it was submitted in the wrong category. In fact I think it was submitted four times in the wrong category.

One should avoid submitting sites in the top level categories like Regional:Asia: Vietnam and expecting it to be moved to the correct sub category.

Submitting in the wrong category shouldn't be a showstopper, although it does represent a big distraction and tends to become an entry on an editor's "to do" list. But too many 404 errors will result in the editor putting it aside to check at some later time.

The first thing I suggest is to make sure all links are working. And here are the submission guidelines.

Oups, 4 times!! Sorry, it s my first website. Didn't know much about DMOZ. But learning...
I have more than 500 pages. I have submitted the most relevants pages (6 different pages) in the categories I think are suitable.

- The website is online. No more 404 (I am not an expert but the people at the National Vietnamese Internet Provider VNN / VDC told me that the cache server had some problems with IPs coming from Lycos. That made my web (hosted at Lycos) unavailable in Vietnam for all computers connected with VNN! The problem is fixed now)
- All links are working
- I read your submission guidelines: "Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory"
I submitted urls that contain different content.


So, what should I do now?
