Can you please tell me the status of my submittion.

I have noticed that there is no editor for this section so will my submition be waiting until a new editor is found.

The fact that no editor is listed on bottom of the category page any more doesn't mean that no one can edit it. The site can be edited by editors of parent categories and by the so-called editalls who can edit nearly everywhere in the directory. However they have many categories to look after, so it often takes a lot of time until a site gets reviewed.
