Strange. Would it be possible to check if it is anywhere else? Otherwise I'll resubmit it. But I don't want to get penalised for inadvertantly submitting it twice.

You won't get penalized for submitting twice and no, we can't check for it being somewhere else. That's exactly why we want people to give us a link to the category the site is waiting in
