That's because only editors list sites in the ODP. If you aren't an editor, all you can do is submit urls for us to consider. When you submit them they go into a queue. (Although many editors will take pains to point out that we doing always deal with the sites in order. We often go through it looking for obvious misplacements to send off elsewhere, spam to delete, and sites that look like they stand out - like a well written description about a site by NASA in an Astronomy category.)

How long until it's reviewed? It depends on a number of factors. It's important to remember that our editors are volunteers working at their own pace, deciding on their own priorities.

You probably also should also read or re-read our forum guidelines before posting again.

We'll be glad to give you a status check in mid-August. Right now is too soon.
