Hi,

Just wanted to see if the site had been reviewed yet for:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Telecommun...turers/Voice_and_Data/Broadband/Fiber_Optics/

I believe this is the most appropriate category for our site. So, if there is any question in regard to the fact that we are listed in an additional category:

http://dmoz.org/Science/Physics/Optics/Equipment_and_Instruments/

Then please move us to the Fiber Optics category.

No change in the status.

If a reviewing editor chooses not to list it, because of the other one, then you will be able to apply to have it changed. You will do this using the "Update URL" lik in the category where you are listed. But please do not do that now - let's wait and see what a reviewing editor does witjh the submission.

Okay, sounds reasonable. So, if the editor declines the listing will I receive a notice? Or, do I just check back in one month? Thanks.

Notifications of listing or lack thereof are not given. You may use this thread to enquire in one month [at least].

There is often a lag of a week or more between the time a site gets listed on the internal editing servers and it appears to the outside world.

Multiple submission to other categories have been deleted, you still may be waiting in the FiberOptics cat, you in fact were never published there.

Multiple submissions of http://www.timberconn.com have been deleted - using timbercon.com instead.

Secondary status checks now require a six month wait. Please see

Confused

Hi,

I am a bit confused at this point. Would someone please clarify whether or not we are in the queue for:

That is the main category we have been trying to get into for the past year. I only submitted to the others because it was taking so long to get listed. Previously, I was told that if we are declined a listing in the Fiber Optics category then we can request a listing update on one of our other categories and ask for the listing to be moved to Fiber Optics. However, I need to know the status first, and I have received two different answers.
