While you were patiently waiting, we went and changed the rules on you.

Follow-up status reports now must be spaced six months apart, which means you are next eligible for a status check on or after October 28.

The new rules greatly reduce the number of follow-up checks we have, and allow us to spend more time doing what we really want to do: namely edit.

It's from the date of the last status report (which was mine), rather than the date of the preceeding query. That may not be fair, but it's the way the guidelines are written.
